Best Print On Demand Jewelry Companies [+ What’s the Hype?]
Print on demand jewelry is becoming increasingly popular! Have you added print on demand jewelry to your Etsy shop to make money? In this blog article, we’ll explore what print on demand jewelry is, the hottest trends in print on demand services and the best print on demand jewelry companies. Scroll to the end where I reveal my personal opinion on print on demand jewlery so you can decide if it’s right for you.
So, without further ado, let’s dive in!
What is print on demand jewelry?
Print on demand is a super handy service that allows people like you and me to sell products without ever touching them. How is that possible?
Print on demand services is connected to your store (say Etsy) through an integration. When a customer places an order, the order goes straight to the POD company. They then create the product and ship it out to your customer. This service is popular with t-shirts, notebooks, mugs and now jewelry!
And just because the market is titled print on demand doesn’t mean all of the jewelry is “printed” with graphics. Engraved POD jewelry is popular too!
Benefits of Using Print on Demand Services for Jewelry
The benefits of using a POD company are huge! Especially if you are just starting and have very little money to invest upfront.
Unlike with a physical retail store or even an eCommerce shop, you don’t have to spend a pile of money on inventory. This potentially saves you hundreds to thousands of dollars invested in your business. This frees up money to put toward marketing instead!
Since the POD company deals with fulfilling and shipping your orders – you get to focus on creating the designs and marketing your products. We can all benefit from saving some time in our days…am I right?!!
Since you don’t pay and create inventory upfront, this provides you with the opportunity to test your market. Try different designs and see what resonates with your clientele. If the design performs well…awesome! Double down on that design. If it doesn’t perform well – no problem! Discontinue the design and try again.
With POD it is easy to fill your online shop with different designs. Customers want to see a full shop, just like they do when they walk into a physical location.
Popular Print on Demand Jewelry Trends
You’ve come here looking for the chicest and most fashionable jewelry available through POD. We’ve got you covered!
One of the top trends for jewelry is minimalist designs. These designs feature simple shapes like rectangles, bars, and circles. They are often engraved with names or inspirational words – these are very short and to the point!
Personalized ANYTHING is also popular and it’s no different with jewellery. You can get necklaces and bracelets with names or even titles like “Mom” or “Dad”.
Geometric shapes are also popular. These designs feature bold shapes and patterns that are eye-catching and can be used to create unique jewelry pieces.
The Best Print on Demand Jewelry Companies
When it comes to uncovering the best print on demand jewelry suppliers, there are various aspects you should take into account. First, it’s important to find a supplier that offers high-quality jewelry at an affordable price (more on that in my personal opinion below!).
Second, you should look for a supplier that offers a wide selection of materials and finishes. You can often find finishes in silver, gold, rose gold, and more.
Third, it’s important to find a supplier that has a good reputation and is known for excellent customer service. You want quick turnaround times and reliable shipping because consumers have grown to expect it.

Printify’s jewelry option is a bit different from others at the moment as they only offer sublimation printing. This means that you can create jewelry with graphics. The down-side is that there is no option for engraving which is super popular.

What’s My Take on POD jewelry?
I have to be honest here.
First of all, I do love print on demand companies for designing t-shirts and other products. It’s super easy to create shirt with little to no experience as long as you avoid these common t-shirt design mistakes.
I find the quality pretty decent and they have a lot of options to choose from when it comes to materials and finishes. The shipping is fast and the customer service has been wonderful. I really can’t find any complaints.
I would not hesitate if you want to start your own shop (check out my 7 Pro Tips to Start a Print on Demand Business).
Now when I look at the POD jewelry, it’s a different story than the t-shirts.
Some of the jewlery is plated in silver or gold – sounds wonderful right? But when you get these jewlery pieces in your hand you’ll find them very thin. They don’t up to being worn as a longterm jewelry piece (or ever short-term!).
I’ve personally tested some of the POD jewlery. It’s thin and light and what’s worse is, it broke in my hands the day we received it. The Etsy seller was kind enough to replace it which was awesome.
Guess what happened to the replacement? Yup, broke just days after we got it. It didn’t snag on something, it just broke while wearing it around my neck. My daughter also had hers break not long after. I gave up on returning it and called it a loss.
I’ll leave those thoughts with you and hope to find POD jewlery that is fashionable and holds up!
Final Thoughts
Print on demand jewlery is a great option for entrepreneurs who want to create and offer custom jewelry without investing in a large inventory. Check out POD companies like Prinitfy or Printful for the jewlery materials and finishes you want. And consider the quality of POD jewelery and whether that resonates with your brand.
